Avalaunch wouldn't hurt, but some do prefer EvoX. And yes, I do agree, with a modded Xbox, you can do MUCH more than you will (prob) be able to with the 360. I've got the Xbox connected to Lappy VIA an ethernet cable (Laptop sees the Xbox and adds it to the list of harddrives in my computer) and from there I just drop in files I want to watch, and then load up Xbox Media Center and I'm all set! This functionality is only somewhat available   with an un-modded Xbox 360, and to use it you need to have Windows Media Center Edition. With a HardDrive upgrade, a few downloaded roms and emulators (roms of games you own! LaunchBrowser gives you access to Launch.com's music videos (just about any video playing currently), QuickTime Browser gives you access to Apple's movie trailers, and there are quite a few more. Of course you do have to use a real game then. Chips are better than softmods because they can't be un-done or corrupted by Microsoft. No need for an expensive chip like the X3, it provides no more true functionality.<br><br>XBox can be used for dozens of emulators. Preferrably MAME with hundreds (actually thousands) of coin-op arcade games at your fingertips in one emulator.  N64 emulation is pretty great as well.
