I own an xbox 360 and I definitely agree that xbox live is the great equilizer.  You have to have great games to have a great console, but I could buy the xbox by itself and still have hours of fun without purchasing a game. Even though he couldn't give a lot of specifics I haven't seen anyone in the media ask how the damn thing is going to connect yet. Thanks.<br><br>I just wish you guys, or someone would ask ONE question, that I've wanted to hear the answer to since I opened my 360.<br><br>Why is the voice quality so much poorer with the 360 as opposed to the first Xbox? And what is Microsoft doing to correct the problem?<br><br>(yes I know that's two questions, but they are very related)<br><br>And why hasn't Microsoft announced anything about it publicly yet? It's a huge issue that comes up everytime I go on Live. Kids were playing with the other stuff... And the half occupied didn't seem to gather much interest. Rather surprising, but on of the salesman said that had been the case for weeks now. His answers are well thought and doesn't have that arrogant feel in him. <br><br>This is exactly the kind of interview a Sony PR guy will never do. They will always claim their superiority, especially asked about competition. ("HD era doesn't start until we said so")<br><br>and i especially liked how he answered the HD DVD question. Indeed, a lot of people do NOT need next generation players immediately or right out of the box. Probably less than 10% will even care about it, since DVD is still as popular as ever. They said that they are working on it and they will put out an update on Live that will solve the problem, although they didn't give a specific time frame for when that was going to take place.<br>  They also said that they have been hearing a lot of complaints about it though, so clearly it was a major issue, but who can complain with the rest of the live service, definitely not me.]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[Matt]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Jan 25th 2006 2:42AM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
