Now my question is, this wireless signal can send hdmi uncompressed to your tv at upto 3 gb/s. Is it really that much harder to do wifi this fast too? Perhaps that is possible now, i'm not sure.

But once it is then you have a really good product, a portable monitor, like a tablet pc, without the parts inside (meaning it has desktop power).

BTW, please don't pay $100 for an HDMI cable. That's just a big box store getting the money from you that they didn't make on the set.
