But still, you're right that MP's aren't the only thing to be considered. Response time, low light performance and battery life are more important than 8MP. I own a Rollei verion and I have to say that compared to my last 3.2MB Canon, this is outstanding.  The 30fps video is easily as good as that from a cheap, dedicated video camera.  We can argue all day about the ins and outs of digital photography, but this camera is a little cracker.
