Yeah
we’ve seen otherDS Litevideos, just never with such steamy
close-upsand gentle pans over that crisp white gloss of Nintendo’s
soon-to-be-released handheld game console. Touch! Try! DS. What more can we say?
i have the same Q as Dale. if buying from Lik-Sang or Play-Asia, will the menus be in Japanese or will there be option to change to English like on cell phones? please people, if you know, speak up.... much apprecitated...
1. You can choose English as your default language as soon as you turn the unit on for the first time. I believe that Lik-Sang also includes instructions.
2. All your games will function on this unit.
3. Nintendo WiFi will function properly.
The Japanese DS is essentially identical to the US DS. Your DS lite will not be warrantied in the US, but with Nintendo's stallar quality, I wouldn't worry at all.
I want the DS Lite and I want it now. Who here agrees with me? I can't wait to purchase one myself when the new DS hits the shelves. I've been saving up for this sweet device.
oooohhh it looks so puuurrrty, kinda like a mini ibook, with two screens and less functionality, oh ok that was a bad comparison, but the DS is much better looking than its predecessor.
I'm pretty sure that if you didn't preorder one from Lik-Sang or Play-Asia in the first couple days after it was announced, you won't be getting one of the first production run.
I'm gonna do my best to wait for the American release.

It's beautiful.
I broke down last night and decided to order one through Lik-Sang.
I've convinced myself that the brighter screens will make make this purchase a good one.

I love the form factor but the solid white just seems bland and "used."

If you like games, the DS won't end up in a drawer.

How many would lik-sang receive for their first shipment? I ordered one yesterday but I'm afraid it may be too late for the first shipment...

If you buy through Lik-Sang, are all the menus in Japanese? Is Pictochat?
NNTPgrip @ Feb 23rd 2006 1:09PM
I can't tell, does the new design have a bigger d-pad and XYAB buttons? Cause on the one I have now they're too small.
