It just never seemed worth it to buck the status quo and keep moving the mouse over to the left on shared (ie family) computers.  My point is, I don't know a single lefty that actually mouses lefty. The mouse card was a bit on the short side so it had to be on the right side. I became a right-handed mouse user by default and now using a mouse with my left hand feels a bit odd. I do know a couple lefties that mouse righty, but not me.  I did make a concession to my fam (who are 100% righty) on the shared compy.  I didn't switch the buttons.  So my normal leftclick is a leftclick with my middle finger.  This is actually far more comfortable to me anyway.<br><br>My mom actually moused for a couple years lefty because she got tired of moving the mouse around.  heh.  I was the one who showed my little brother how to shoot pool and rifles.  He shoots both lefty even though he is definitely a righty. Only prob is I've been using the V500  for a long time (because it was the only one decently nice for travel and ambi).  I'd hate to convert back to a big honkin' mouse just to support the creation of one lefty mouse.  <br><br>I wonder what the % are of geeks that are lefty.  Anybody have a reliable source? I work in IT support for a University campus, so I am constantly having to use a right handed setup, and I am quite comfortable with it, but gaming, I need that lefty mouse!
