Well, it would be an external antenna on the outside of the house with a repeater transmitting the signal to ALL portable devices inside. Nice one right? Yep, that one is for free. The S50 may have its flaws, but it works great for me and I bought it specifically to record now and listen later since I am not always around when my favorite shows are on. If doing that is good enough for television it is good enough for radio.

Not to burst your little invention but, XM already has a repeater (Sirius doesn't as of yet).
