You're not just getting a game system, but a full entertainment experience. And computerr. And don't forget- the cheapest Blu-Ray player on the market- thats also packed with Playstation goodness. I think a xbox360 with all the games thatll be out by that time or a Wii at such a nice (but possibly too optimistic?) price: will out-trump a PS3 at that price.

The PSP was a bad experience for me, then the whole DRM thing...now this.

I wouldn't say they have ripped anyone off, but I will say they lack originality.
