If these devices would add a discrete place, or placeS, to install an SD card that has wifi or Bluetooth and it connects to a built in antenna - that would be fine with me. Why wait for Apple?

As for Dualcor, the hype led us to beleive that this would be a "uber-connected" device. This announcement just leaves people cold, regardless if you are an individual or enterprise user. The biggest loss here is the lack of a celluar radio - the lack of BT and wifi is offset by the use of expansion cards.

I think the point I really wanted to make is that they don't have to cram every radio tech there is into these devices, it would be nice if you could select which radio you want as an option. BT, WIFI, Cell providers...

I'm glad you have a device that works for you - things have gotten better in that regard. The truth is I really don't need such a device, and I like Apple stuff, so I'll probably wait. Just think of how many people on here expressed interest in the cPC, and were waiting for it before they made a decision to purchase it or an OQO, etc? Quite a few. One does not full blown battery-draining XP on a portable device most of the time, but is good to have the option.
But - if they want to sell it as a portable device - _MORE_BUTTONS_!!! How do they expect a user to change tracks or turn e-book pages with three lousy buttons? However, their comparison with the UMPC still lists "802.11b/g, Bluetooth, 3G*", with the asterisk seeming to reference "3G connectivity provided through DualCor partner channel".
