It's not like 1920x1200 at 17 inches is a technical impossibility (Dell used to have that resolution available on their 15 inch displays). Also 1680x1050 is not an HD resolution, however I frequently watch HDTV on my 21" gateway LCD with the same resolution and there isn't any noticeable loss in image quality. I would image that on a smaller display the difference between 1680x1050 and 1080p would be even less noticeable. There are 17" 1080p screens around, however I'm sure they're much more expensive.

mike willard

Comments on LG's XNOTE S1-P555K laptop with HD DVD player

Do YOU come with the laptop??!
:p

Travors

Comments on LG's XNOTE S1-P555K laptop with HD DVD player

kool stuff, hopefully it's not going to be too expensive. The other S1 models are 15" and there IS 15" screens with that resolution.
