Part of the reasoning is that you set the temperature you want by color.  Showing just the temperature would encourage one to set the temperature too high and then when the water temperature reached that setting, it's much too hot. The temperature of the water coming out of the faucet is not always related to the handle's position, even after you wait for the hot water to come -- it depends on the water heater's cycle, and other circumstances.<br><br>A combination of the two would be pretty sweet. I was thinking I'd see it at someone's house one day and it'd be interesting to see in action but I probably wouldn't install that.  I'd buy my faucet from a different manufacturer like Moen.
