And Michael, I really don't quite get the comparison you are making. The components in Apple's current laptops are not really significantly different anymore. A lot of other laptops have X1600's or Intel 950 integrated graphics, and most of them are using the same Core Duo chips, RAM, hard drives, etc. There is still a bit of a price premium, but I don't think it is quite like the comparison you are making.

bullfrog, the laptop you bought is not even vaguely comparable to this Evesham. Can you really not tell the difference between the ATI 200m integrated graphics and an SLI notebook with GeForce 7900 GPU's?
