I feel stupid having bout a 13.3" 4lb 2.x GHz duo core laptop several months ago.

Toshiba, WAKE UP!!!! If you were anouncing a Core 2 Duo 4lb 14" laptop for August you'd have plenty of people's interest. 1GB of decent RAM (one less upgrade to do) and finally 100+GB for HDD space (another upgrade we don't need to do), for the money I would say it will be awesome to see that in Best Buy for the price shown! Right now I can't touch a tablet for less than $1700 locally unless I would go with Averatec. Wake up, jim. No one cares if you have a slightly faster core duo processor (1.66 or 1.83 vs. 2.?)? You paid too much for it and your performance gains will be minimal. Without melting your notebook, the best you can expect in a 12"/13.3" is an ati x1400/nvidia 7400 and the best you can get in a 14" is an ati x1600/nvidia 7600. Aside from panasonic Sony seems to be the only other company that truly can lay any claim to building something resembling an ultra-portable.
