I love it, you can put videos etc on it.
you can record from the radio and save it to mp3.
i love the size, the ease of features, and for me it works great.
if i had to find a negative, i do not know how to put new games on it.
my coworkers want one today.

haha however, I'm not in the market for a small-capacity player, though I would definitley recommend this to people such as my sister who are more concerned about running with his or her player then having a large music data-base

also, stupid apple fanboys talking about 30gb capacity, this thing uses NAND, not a garbagey hard drive. less storage per dollar, but better on battery, better on heat, better on not skipping, and noiseless.

Really, Samsung products look SO bad..
Now look at the iPod Nano, its not like it has the world's coolest features or anything, but it's got killer looks..

Coming to the technology, cant agree more with dave about NAND..
If they insist on hiking the price for bluetooth, i hope they make sure that the music can be updated using bluetooth, otherwise its just a waste.
With a few tweaks, and if possible - the bluetooth related feature, and a total design overhaul..this is something i'd seriously consider to replace my Nano, which is scratching faster than charging - and thats BAD.

PS: Dogpatch, as long as we are stereotypifying, arent you that guy whose just bitter because he's DUMB, can remember the latest *insert inane sport* scores better than his address, calles customer service to help with battery-replacement and oh, ofcourse can't differentiate between 'Get LOST, loser!' and 'Oh Baby, YEAAH'

Problem is, I have a Mac and I honestly never know if anything BUT an iPod will work with it. Seriously.

I love Apple computers but I'm not really a fan of the iPod. Not enough going for them, for me. I have a 15GB 3G and folks at work have everything from minis to nanos to 5g iPods - I'm just not turned on by any of them.

This, having an a2dp BT audio profile is killer, especially for working out. No wires!

Regardless, my point is DAPs generally have, or should have, greater than 12 hours of play time. Bluetooth headphones probably will never have much more than 6 hour play time for at least the next 5-10 years. Since they have to drive both the Bluetooth receiver and the headphone speaker amp section all in a package as small as a standard headphone. Which means you will have to carry along a set of earbuds just in case the BT headphones crap out. If that is so, what is the point. IMO, the only ipod that EVER looked cool was the G3. Nano is the ugliest of the bunch, again IMO.

And cry-me-an-iriver, I do not want you to read this as mean. I am calmly asking to provide proof that shows Leopard will "natively" run Windows programs. In its Wikipedia article, it says it has Boot Camp,but doesn't mention any built-in Windows emulation. If it does, I hope for you Mac people's sake that it works better than WINE (a decent program, but it has its flaws.

And for people who talk about battery life, do you really need more than 6 hours? I have a MyFi, which lasts about 5 hours, and it's fine. How long are you going to be away from your charger? This seems to be an epidemic among ipod people, they never charge up. That's bad! Avoid completely discharging the battery at all costs. You may not believe it, but it's better to charge up every day than it is to charge ONLY after you've hit bottom. As for this device it looks like it will be nice and I love the idea of bluetooth, for headphones and transfers (Don't know if this will be possible). as for its battery life Samsung way over estimates everything. I'll expect it to get around 12-15 hours with everyday life use, but thats still pretty good.

And as far as sexy goes, I'll have to agree with kevin M on the G3 iPod being the only apple player that looked STUNNING and that the nano looks groady. I still have my old 10GB G3'pod in my desk drawer. This device looks just as sleek, if not sleeker, than the iPod nano could dream to look, and the nano's so out of proportion that the touch wheel looks like a malformed nipple.
