I totally understand why an mp3 player is preferred over a discman mp3 player: due to its size, less likelyness to skip, and switching disks is a pain when songs end in 5 minutes.

But a tablet dvd player isn't that much bigger than these pmp. With 5 or 6 disks you can pack all the content that is on the hard drive. And since you typically watch one track for about an hour, switching disks isn't that big of a deal. Plus you have the added benefit of being able to pop in a dvd from the local drugstore if you aren't by your computer.

So why is nobody hyping new innovations in portable dvd players? Is the technology there just done?

Steven Noble

Comments on Digital Cube says "me too" with Bluedot BMP-1430 PMP

So is "blue dot" related to Blaupunkt?

Those versed in German, might wonder the same.

dreampc

Comments on Digital Cube says "me too" with Bluedot BMP-1430 PMP

So it's just another renaming of the V43 for another country/company?
