Report: US July sales up 22%, DS and EA top sellers

The NPD Group released good news today for the US gaming industry, Nintendo's DS, and Electronics Arts. Overall industry sales were up 22% compared to last year, thanks in part to strong sales from both the DS and Xbox 360. In terms of software, EA sold four of the top 10 selling titles for the month, capitalizing on the upcoming college football season through the sale of NCAA Football 07.
