Ricky C. already pointed out that it's super easy to fast-forward over the ad, but you should also keep in mind that Engadget isn't a public service. The reason we're able to offer you both the site and the podcast for free is because we have advertisers supporting us.

I just wanted to say I think the podcast should be a higher priority for Engadget because...well because it's really good. Have you listened to the other guys lately? It has potential. A podcast sporadically or every month or six weeks is not cuttin' it...Engadget should commit resources to make it happen...always.
