I've got 4 printers sitting here, and *none* of them have any driver support by either Apple or the vendor. It should be as good, if not better than Windows.  The problems is vendors make drivers for the masses, leaving OSX out to dry.  This is one of the reasons I'm sadly selling my Macmini and upgrading my existing Windows machine to Vista. But all the evidence points to a video ipod. You are only going to get about 1Mbps speed - which is in the range of broadband internet download speeds.
