Sam, your comment helps no one, so if you'd rather not be a hypocrite make a useful suggestion. There are children in all kinds of situations who can use this help, it would to be sad to overlook a needy child because someone is jaded and making assumptions.  I applaud the work being done by OLPC!  I would much rather have technology trickle up, starting with efficiency for those who need it, rather than trickle down from the rich who aren't in need of new technology.  This kind of R&D being done by OLPC is leaps and bounds over the corporations who R&D and create bloat through greed and laziness, tying up $$$ and resources by not being efficient.
