Hell, you can even get Pizza delivered. Now that's a service that will move gadgets. You get it, fully charged, within 4 hours. It does suck when you have to wait, sometimes over 12 hours, to use your new toys.

I agree that Kozmo was a great service and concept, but they did expand too fast and with no economies of scale.

I interned with Kozmo.com and the concept that worked in NYC with bike messengers shuttling stuff around had no shot in cities like Houston and LA. So they had to get people deliver in cars (like pizza delivery).

The stupidest thing with that was they'd pay the delivery guys $10/hour but the web site had no minimum purchase limits or delivery fees. I personally have seen a guy drive his car like 10 miles to deliver a 75 cent bag of sunflower seeds. Ridiculous!
