So I'm waiting for the price to come down and/or the screen size to go up.... I haven't been able to find another pre-built/high-quality/cool-looking/small-form-factor PC like the Vaio, though....

And Blu-ray I can take or leave.... I do like the built-in TV tuner, but I need a dual PAL/NTSC card so the built-in NTSC-only card in the U.S. Vaio isn't as handy as a dual.... I'll have to get an external tuner anyway.... bler.

Has anyone found any other alternatives?

brachish

Comments on Sony VAIO L gets Core 2 Duo and Blu-ray burner

erm, a mac is a pc

how about you get that imac you think looks so cool and install windows.

of course, in the process you will check out OS X and that will pretty much make you wonder why you (and any one else) ever bothered with windows.

isn't serendipity great?

waddo
http://www.waddo.net/

keith waddington
