Buggy software that constantly reboots, under powered processor, moderatly reliable wifi connection, and poor ablitiy to input text. I admit, when I first got my 770, it ticked me off. The new release is like a brand new unit. I have been searching for a new handheld since I realized the Newton was too big years ago. I've been through Palms, Windows CE / PocketPC / Windows Mobile, and realized I don't need a 'pda', but something different. The 770 was it. I use it regularly to discover AP's with the Kismet tool.  It also makes a good Nmap scanner.
