"Journalists attending the launch of the so called Laser TV were not allowed access to the inner workings of the demonstration Laser TV according to journalists who attended the event.". LCD front projectition has quietly pushed DLP aside.  Not to mention that plasma and LCD are way more peopular then DLP.<br><br>Now if its the future your talking about, then its all in SED tvs.  Hopefully they will be as good as everyone says they are. He thought of everything you could do with patents and the term of the patent has already run out. Plus, you clearly showed you have no understanding on how the patent system works because you cannot patent something that is in production already because the technology has become common knowledge. However, if the technology turns out to be cheaper to produce than plasma and LCD and features a better picture, laser-powered tvs could very well be the next generation of television.
