Basically, the original poster is looking for a PvE to PvP server transfer. While I am not entirely opposed to the idea, I do think leveling up on a PvP server is a lot tougher than doing so on a PvE server. And I don't necessarily mean tougher as in more of a challenge, which you could argue that it isn't, I mean more of a time sink. The quests aren't any harder, nor the mobs, and if you are persistent you will finish all your quests and grind your way to 60 just like you would on a PvE server. There just happens to be folks waiting around every corner to slow you down as much as possible. I guess after you reach level 60 and you are getting the majority of your gear and loot out of instances, things even out, but even then, there are certain advantages to being able to venture across contested zones farming for herbs knowing you aren't going to get ganked or get into a 5 on 1 corpse camping situation.
I personally wouldn't be opposed to the idea if Blizzard created a few new servers for these PvE-to-PvP wannabees, but I am not sold on the idea that they should be allowed to transfer to an already existing PvP server. What do you guys think? Should Blizzard open up the floodgates? Make a new server? Or leave well enough alone?
