Oh no! How will we complain about nerfs?
The WoW.com forums are going to be down for 8 hours today starting at 1 PM EST for a little maintenance. According to Eyonix this downtime will allow Blizzard to migrate the forum database to another server, which will hopefully improve performance for both the forums and the WoW.com website itself.
All of this is well and good, but Eyonix is really ducking the major problem. During the downtime, where will people go to flame others under the guise of a level 1 alt, complain endlessly about both real and perceived class nerfs and write long, insightful farewell letters when they decide to quit the game? I mean, if it weren't for the forums, we would never have known that Blizzard favors warlocks and hates druids. This will truly be eight hours that will test the very fabric of the WoW community
