I am all for a causal article reading, but it just seems that Thomas is trying too hard. It's not just unique to "korean companies".

Let's take one example why the term "copying" is utterly WRONG.
Cars-> Hyundai cars are designed in Europe by companies who have designed some European and Japanese cars. Therefore, it is sorta expected that Hyundai and some European cars to have similarities in design. Why? Because it was designed by the same designer.

Plus, we've been doing this for years. Then you can say Microsoft 'copied' Mac with the whole graphic user interface thing. Or Dell 'copied' Toshiba's laptop designs...
