2.the model number and phone id is that of the black k1m
3.i called verizon and the rep said they only have one model number in their system and that is the black one although the verizon rep did acknowledge he saw on the website the same thing that i saw, but said there is only one model they sell and ship out. and that the model listed on that page is that of the black one.

2.i verified this on the site. in fact the pic on the verizonwireless site is just shaded poorly or has light bouncing from the pic. when looked at on the listing page or using the 360 you can clearly see it is black. there is a single model, a single phone id, a single listing, and it's black.
