I love this tiny player but the earbuds suck. Nice design details like the no-slip pad on the bottom of the dock and the serial number laser-engraved on the case, but hidden until the clip is opened.

The only glitch was when I plugged it into a USB hub and the battery charging apparently tripped the current limit on the hub. With no power, the Shuffle just disappeared from iTunes. Also, how many contacts does the dock plug have on it? Just ground, ring, and tip? Or are there two rings? On the flex circuit, I only see 3 traces connecting the circuit board to the jack.
