In fact, this model looks to have the best features of the m200, with an updated cpu and optical drive - I wonder how much battery life it gets with two batteries.

If it has its keyboard and dedicated video card, it'd be excellent 'cause it's at a lower price (though Toshiba's newest doesn't have dedicated video).

I doubt they offer anything like Toshiba's three year accident protection plan though.

kOa7

Comments on Details surface on Fujitsu's Core 2 Duo-powered LifeBook T4215

will this be Vista Capable [aka: no aero] or will it be Vista Ready.

details on the difference is:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/windowsvista/evaluate/hardware/vistarpc.mspx

dan rosica

Comments on Details surface on Fujitsu's Core 2 Duo-powered LifeBook T4215

if the T4210 (the model below) is anything to go on then this laptop is going to have 11-12 hours of battery life with two batteries installed. The documentation that I have read say that this laptop is fully vista compatable (so aero design enabled) and if you buy this laptop before i think it is march or something of 2007 then you will get a free coupon to upgrade it to vista premium for FREE....

If you buy this laptop from the official (going on T4210 again) fujitsu website shop then there is the option of buying 3 years of sceen cover. (they will replace the screen if broken up to twice a year for the three year coverage (able to get 1-3 years))

Bob

bob
