The manual is worse than poor.  It won't reliably read Memory Stick Duo cards and doesn't support the MSDuo adapter because it has a metal jacket.  My MSduo, directly from the camera has 768 photos on it, the SPDPF56E only goes to 142 and then to number 1.  The transitions are too slow and non-adjustable, combined with the non-adjustable slide change rate, 50% of the viewing is watching the stupid transitions.  Finally the picture quality is poor, somewhat fuzzy, very low resolution.  It is going back to the store tomorrow.
