The only reason why the first generation iPod was large is due to time, technology, and cost. Why would I want to pay for an fm tuner when I would never use it? That's the whole point of owning an ipod, you listen to the music you want, when you want. I got my first ipod over 3 years ago and honest to god haven't listened to the radio for more than 5 mins since then. My 60GB ipod is chocked full of music and podcasts, and I can go ages without ever hearing the same some again. I actually enjoy being able to buy an ipod with no fm tuner in it, why pay for crap I won't use?
