They have placed a 64FPS cap on all AMD/Intel Dual Core systems, game play is choppy at times due to unexplained stutters, characters do not turn like they are suppose to. These are just a few of the problems with WoW+Dual Cores.

There are so many issues at this time that Blizzard refuses to even give honest answers as to when they will be fixed. All they will say is "it is penciled in" for "a future patch". You can search the general forums and the technical support forums and find 100's of pages of complaints on the lack of support for Dual Core users.

Blizzard is more then happy to take customers $14.99 per account each month and is slow to provide customer care if any at all. With over 7 Million paying customers they can easily afford to fix issues in a timely manner, but this is what happens when the $$ becomes more important then the people that play your game.....not to mention the 800+ Queu's and hour long wait times to log into a game that your paying for during peak hours.

Bruce Carroll

Comments on Alienware boosts Area-51 7500, ALX to Core 2 Extreme

I find this comment rather amusing....considering World of Warcraft was only mentioned in the summary; and was only used because it happens to be a popular PC game at the moment.

Jake

Comments on Alienware boosts Area-51 7500, ALX to Core 2 Extreme

"Do you really need that much processing power?"

Every time anyone asks that question or "Do you really need that much memory?" or "Do you really need that much hard drive space?" the answer is always "yes."

Jason

Comments on Alienware boosts Area-51 7500, ALX to Core 2 Extreme

man, Alienware has the tightest case ever produced. period.

Murc

Comments on Alienware boosts Area-51 7500, ALX to Core 2 Extreme

They picked the game to comment on =).
