This is targeted for people who favour mobility (low weight with long battery life). There are other options for those who need 14" widescreens or an integrated optical drive. I have a Toshiba Satellite R15 convertible that serves very well as a tablet, but it's not easy to tote around like a clipboard due to the size and weight.

I've had nothing but good luck with the ThinkPads...the X41 tablet was very well-built and the X60 just improves on it...it has better screen protection and a more durable hinge.
