Finally. The Zune is useful.

Just last night I dreamed of Mass Storage mode on the Zune. Nobody on the market offers this because it's such a new new feature that hasn't been around for years, and I knew that Microsoft would go out of its way to give it to us, 'cause they are technological leaders, and extremely pro-"open standards". Even if the Zune sucked, I would buy it for the simple possibility that it might not in future - but of course it doesn't. It's great!

Anyhow, in my dream I said "how cool would it be to have me send a non-photo file to another Zune, but diguise it as a jpg photo!!!" That would be awesome.

Then I just explain to my nearby Zunester what I've done so he knows what to do with it when he gets it. Could it get any easier, I wondered?
