Although on a larger HDTV, this may not be the case. Besides, most of the games' graphics are not high-def.

As a side-note, if you even have a Wii, just be thankful you have one. We had to drive for 2 hours yesterday from Philly to the Toys-R-Us in Timesquare in NYC just to get one. No other place in the Tri-State area had one. I'm already paying more for everything anyway (the UK is expensive). We pay £180 for one Wii, that's roughly 350 US Dollars. So we pay about 100 bucks more, for no reason really, the console is the same, except for region code (which as I understand the Wii has). So yes, I will be buying third party products, especially accessories and I just pray to God that we will have those over here (I expect we'll pay about 1.5 of your price...). Even games are about 20-25 bucks more expensive. We pay £40, that's almost a one-to-one conversion. And don't bullshit me about EU-regulations bringing up the price, that's corporate bullshit in these types of devices.

Matthew

Comments on 3rd party Wii component cables

Sorry when i sent it to you... it wasn't back ordered...

Zekie G.

Comments on 3rd party Wii component cables

Has anyone seen the shipping charges for these things? The cheapest option - airmail - is $17 for a package that weighs less than an ounce. It seems pretty clear that they're subsidizing the product cost with the S&H charges; when you factor them into the equation, they're not all that much less than the Nintendo cables.

GeoffB

Comments on 3rd party Wii component cables

Less than an ounce?

From the webpage itself:
Shipping Weight: 0.87kg

If you're conversion impaired, that is 30.6883469 ounces, almost 2 pounds.
