Does it take batteries?  Also how would it charge/sync devices like an iPod. And it's better than normal usb. USB running has always been a problem for me and if you guys didn't know, uwb can be used for monitors and such too. It works well as long as you have a direct line of sight to the hub.  Does not work through walls.  I have a card reader, printer, and external hard drive hooked up to it. I get 222  Mbs direct over the USB2.0 link but when I put the UWB hub in the link I get 25 Mbs.  Has anyone else checked the transfer rates too?
