In case you were wondering, HiPe PC is short for "High Performance Personal Computers", sort of a play on words and the "eMage-N" is in reference to the 'magic-like' quality of complete voice control. When our Virtual Re---oops, I'm told I can't talk about that yet--when our 'new peripherals' are released, the 'Mage' in the name will be more apparent :)

But seriously, this looks like something I would need, if only so I could say things like "Computer, access ST: TNG Season 1, disk two, episode 3. Engage". Way cool, and it would be worth the smack in the head I'd get from my g/f from watching ST: TNG, but it would be worth it.

Who hasn't wanted to say "Engage" to their computer? Or "Open the pod bay doors, Hal, and start DVD 1 please".

That said, I've built the close to the same machine for under $1K, AND includes 1 NTSC, 2 ATSC HDTV tuners. Sure it's only running an Athlon64, but it's still more than enough to handle the HDTV, when combined with the Sapphire card.
