It's a Media Center PC...have you actually used MCE2005? It's fantastic just the way it is, especially it's OTA HDTV and Xbox 360 extender capabilities. I'm in no way a M$-fanboi, especially since I adore my Mac-Mini and Front Row, but this is a different beast altogether and is intended to do a completely different job (i.e., combining Tivo with extendability and jukebox functionality).

That said, I've built the close to the same machine for under $1K, AND includes 1 NTSC, 2 ATSC HDTV tuners. Sure it's only running an Athlon64, but it's still more than enough to handle the HDTV, when combined with the Sapphire card.

BTW, as a preemptive answer...he case is very similar to the Ahanix MCE701 at PCalchemy......

jackbrack

Comments on HiPe PC launches eMage-N Media PC with voice command capability

Yeah umm.... i second Richard in telling you all to go out an d buy one for your loved ones for christmas!

Exactly what is Richard Sales Manager of by the way???

Tom
