It is actually surprisingly good w/ 1200:1 contrast ratio, hdmi, component and ATSC tuner. My sub-$1000 WalMart special 37" from Polaroid rocks! It is now pretty well known for having a better picture than most other 32" LCD TV's, including brand names such as Samsung, Toshiba, LG.
