My console is on the opposite end of the house from my computer. I don't have cable TV service so I wouldn't be checking the weather channel.<br><br>What I do wonder, however, is whether this will be faster to start than say, going to weather.com as a favorite in the opera browser. Digital Cameras and camcorders are extra sensitive to IR, unlike our eyes. If you have a remote control turn your digital camera on and pount the controller at it, press a button and you should see a red blinking light. Look at it with your eyes and you see nothing. I suspect this is an extension of that functionality. If one store doesn't have them, drive to another. If by chance that store doesn't have it, the next store will for sure. I've seen them all over.
