When I read that headline I thought, “There is no way people are that pathetic”. But I had to read on to see what proof they offered. The proof was not found in the pages of the article, but in the comments below.

Pasty males complacent in their obesity managed to stop eating long enough to type out messages about why they’d trade women for more s***. Their spattered patches of facial hair, while at first, thought to be a sign of attempt at physical maturity, is in fact simply laziness. They move their chubby fingers, sticky with the remains of some sugar based food, across their keyboards to type out some response to an article relating to a subject they have no experience in… women.

This grotesque image circulates in my brain burning its way through every thought... through every attempt to block its rampage through my mind. I can’t fathom it. The disgust has set in, and now I finally have what I always feared I would find.

Proof… Proof that as a species, we are pathetic. We have no place in this world and should be destroyed. We are the maggots eating away at the decaying flesh of this world. We deserve every catastrophe, every misfortune. We are a violent and disgusting plague on this planet. We don’t even value ourselves anymore. We are completely expendable to each other. Intellect, maturity, companionship, everything that defines the basis of civilization has crumbled, leaving behind a world inhabited by these homunculi.
