Lego CakeBot lives to serve, envies your digestive system
Look at it serving diligently, not even a whimper or a grumble. Sure, you'll be sorry a few years from now as it bakes a cake from the remains of human civilization, but isn't it so cute in the fleeting present? The Lego CakeBot was built by Niclas and Isak for a birthday party and does its job well -- if only those kids knew the far reaching destruction that will soon be caused by their innocent little creation. Peep the video after the break.

That's funny, I'm guessing inspired by the lego car factory over in Germany
I'm all for the funny/strange write-ups, but can you please include enough "normal talk" so we can have some clue as to what the article is reall about? Yikes.
Engadget Robot Story:
Wow! That is teh suck.
Interesting but arent any way to speed up the process?
I don't really mind taking the time to cut a cake.. if only someone would create a bot that would wipe my ass
OMG that sucks sooooooo much!!! I thought It made cake like a 3D printer for cake or something!!
Wow this is sooo stupid. It just barely pushes the cake off (precut) and then you would have to remove the plate anyways. Let alone it breaks the cake in half when the base spins. Nobody wants a destroyed cake.
Wow. All you people complaining: Let's see you build this, let alone one that does what you think it should.
Considering I was building stuff like that when I could count my age on two hands... (thats 10 for you people who would try to make some sly remark)
What i think is this pile of "junk" will only knock the cake off. It's pointless to do that when you have your hands to do that for you. Besides, it must cost alot and it takes a buncha space.
