I dropped mine while it was on and everything from about four to five feet off the ground, it put a little dent in the corner and a screw popped out, but it still works perfectly. Other than a dented corner of the shell and slightly bent frame, the thing is still working flawlessly today. I was able to bend the frame back with gently pressure, though it does wobble ever so slightly. Most importantly, the screen didn't take any damage.

My ibook is built like a tank, i have knocked it off my bed numerous times, the only damage it's sustanded is a busted USB port from the wireless mouse dongle getting bent the wrong way on the impact. and one time it fell on something that scratched the touchpad, but it still works.
