It will rip any DVD to your hard drive and give a nice way to view all of your movies. Also, as someone else noted, I doubt that many people have HDDVD or Blu-Ray drives in their computers. With regular DVD's it was not a problem, but with this, if the key is figured out, the software will stop working. Just going to go with a hardware based player as soon as they come down in price a little more. I think the sweet spot is less than $200 for the player. Oooorr just get an XBOX360+HDVDD for $600.
