I've had their Zen Vision: M since 1 month after it's release. no problems. They are just trying to get an extra buck or 2. Creative is best known for their Computer Speaker Systems and Sound Cards (which are top-notch quality by the way)

Sound is creative's #1 product. obviously not mp3 playes. but i do know that many, many, many computers use either a creative sound card, or a creative speaker system. I for one have a 6-year old creative 3-piece speaker set. Works amazing still. So why not put there top-notch technology into a speaker system made for the most popular mp3 player in the world? Im actually surpised they have held out this long.

I mean, if you found technology to make monitors have a 50,000:1 contrast ratio... wouldnt you want to try and sell your new technology to laptop vendors ? or would you just want to stick with desktop monitors? I would try and get all the buisness i can get.

Godspring

Comments on Creative's first "Made for iPod" speaker docks

This is available at Fry's under the Cambridge Soundworks name brand.
