So far, it's worked perfectly. I stuck a 1GB Memory Stick into it that I picked up for $20 and it has about 280 photos.

I noticed that there's no mention of either sound or a remote control on the new ones. The MosaicView is pretty nice - I think what I like best about it is that if you have pictures in both portait and landscape mode, it will keep portait-oriented pictures in half the screen and put two landscape-oriented pictures in the other half as it rotates through your files randomly (or it will put two portait-oriented pics side by side or four landscape-oriented ones together at once).

Very nice ... the lack of sound is really my biggest gripe as of yet. My only other gripe is that you have to either have pictures up, or movies.
