A 100" tv is $60,000 currently, and a projector and 100" screen is 3500. I think it's a pretty good deal.

@ Jon - Do you really think you need 2000 lumens? 1200 Lumens is more than sufficient for a media room. trimbandit; I don't know if you understand what you are talking about here.

It's plenty bright enough for me in economy mode onto a 150"+ image area. It looks awesome, though the focus isn't quite as tight as I'd like, otherwise, it works very well. I have a 50 ft HDMI cable from my PS3 to this 1080 projector.

You can buy 1080p TVs for cheaper, but it's definitely not the same size or experience. As set up, it feels like a nice personal theater, not just a big TV set.]]>Aug 22nd 2007 12:30PM
