I have no doubt that for penetration and other types of network testing and evaluation there are many tools available for Linux over and above what exists on the windows platform. Maybe the concept isn't necessarily designed for wardriving etc (that tagline was presented by the engadget authors)

If someone was going to use this concept computer for wardriving/penetration testing etc, would they not have put something on other than windows?

personally i think a lot of you worry too much about what a device runs vs those who use the devices and whether or not the user can get things done with whatever is on the device.

Unfortunately, this did make turning rather difficult. I also had to yank the fuse for my horn.
