Chrono_Shredder calendar destroys your days
This one doesn't need a whole lot of explanation. The Chrono_Shredder, designed by Susanna Hertrich, hosts 365 days on a paper roll, with one "day" shredded every 24 hours. Can it ever be stopped? Find out on next week's episode of Heroes, in the future.

That's awesome. I would buy one if it weren't some ridiculous price.
Does it shred very slowly or does it shred one sheet fast once a day?
According to the article... It says "The paper-roll is led through a hacked paper-shredder, which is programmed to use exactly 24 hours to shred one "day"."
Awesome... needs to be cheaper...

Cool, I've been doing this in my head every day for the last 10 years.
Can someone produce and sell these? Pleeeeeeeease! Best calendar ever! Or at least a how-to:)
That's pretty cool.
Just waiting for people to say what a waste of paper it is.
boy, what a waste of paper it is.
no, but it sounds like a cool thing to have.
It's not really wasting paper any more than any regular calendar that you rip off the first page, and as long as you recycle it's not wasting very much at all! Hooray!
np, just use recycled paper and then recycle the remains.
I love it. I'd buy one if it was available.
I think this is supposed to represent the amount of waste created by humans over time.
The picture is genius. She looks worried / sleepy / creepy.
Nice.. this reminds of my "Spamtrap" installation. It prints and shreds spam email.
