It was a known design flaw and thousands of them had been frying. Fujitsu blamed it on ATI and ATI blamed it on Fujitsu. Fujitsu would not make good on the repairs so you either had to lay out $500 for repairs or have a nice looking doorstop. I considered it lesson learned and chose the doorstop. I now have a Core Duo Toshiba Satellite and I am very pleased with it. The screen developed a white stripe for no reason, The stupidest thing is the power connector receptacle broke and renders the notebook pretty much useless.  All other gadgets I have has a metal er center piece for the +ve power connection but the Fujitsu has a plastic thingy and of course it breaks. My other Thinkpads 560x, 600E etc from 8-9 years ago still run great. Go figure.]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[ewi]]></dc:creator><pubDate>May 4th 2007 8:03PM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
