The last true compact camera they released was the SD400, and even that one was a bit  bulky. At this point, it's not only a problem of stuffing more megapixels on tiny sensors, but dimunitive lenses are what holds back image quality. Mind you picture quality isnt great but definatly good enough for a camera that small. That's too bad; I'll have to pick one up, as I had been hoping for a true successor with wide-angle capabilities.
